meant to be handing in my dissertation draft (midnite dedlyne) but it's nowhere near finished and i want to go watch movies so i think i'm just going to submit that shit and hope for the best. initially i wanted to look at how counter terrorism policies and sweet minerals messed with the implementation of peace agreements for civil conflicts in africa but my supervisor told me that such analogies only existed in my head and i'd really let myself down. so awkward. hate academia. now i'm just comparing mandates and whether militias get included in peace agreements enough. kind of wish i had more interesting academic pursuits rather than war and suffering. mostly just suffering.
